Make-A-Wish Illinois Volunteer Application 2017
In order to volunteer, you must complete this application and attend an Orientation Webinar. These two steps can be completed in any order. Upcoming webinars are listed on our Events Calendar, which can be found by clicking on the News & Events link above.
Please keep in mind that this questionnaire is used as a preliminary screening tool. Please allow 30-45 minutes to thoroughly consider and answer the questions. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Make-A-Wish® Illinois. More than 1,800 trained volunteers in Illinois and 25,000 around the country generously give their time and energy to share the power of a wish®. Our volunteers become involved in the mission through a variety of capacities - from granting wishes to event support and other specialty roles - and are an integral part of delivering the mission of Make-A-Wish.
You can help make the wishes of children come true in your community when you become a volunteer for Make-A-Wish. Volunteers are 21 and older and include men and women who live and work throughout Illinois. Time commitments and volunteer needs vary by community.
Upon completion of the application, you will be required to submit to a criminal background check and training. The criminal background check requires your social security number for identity verification.
